FRANKENSTEIN

Book Design
Illustration

Book design for the original 1818 edition of the first volume of “Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus,” acknowledging the story’s true origin on the shores of Lake Geneva, Switzerland in order to present the story in a new and grotesque form, distanced from its Gothic and Romantic themes.

Exhibited in “Mary Shelley and Her Monster: 200 Years of Frankenstein” and featured in the Frankenstein Project Companion Art Book at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) in September 2018.
